Junior Science Olympiad, biology problems, gifted in science.
Abstract
In this study, biology test problems of International Junior Science Olympiad(IJSO) and Korea
Junior Science Olympiad(KJSO) were comparatively analyzed. After biology test problems were classified
according to the syllabus of IJSO and the curriculum of KJSO, respectively, the relevances of the problems
offered by IJSO and KJSO were examined. While IJSO problems dealt structure and function of animal in
large proportion, KJSO problems dealt cell biology in large proportion. Generally, KJSO biology problems
showed high connectivity with IJSO syllabus.
