Abstract
Many experiment activity materials are developed by various science teachers associations. However
those materials are used in the school education or in the teacher education without checking rele
vancy of the materials to the science class. This study aims to develop the experiment activity materi
als which reinforce hands-on activity, to apply the materials to in-service education program, and to
examine the field relevance of the materials. Among the physics experiment activity materials devel
oped by a science teachers association, 7 experiments were selected and modified to improve the con
cept, inquiry and science attitude. The developed materials were applied to in-service education
program. As the results, we could identify the strength and weakness of developed hands-on activity
materials and check the field relevance of the materials.
